This place is a hidden gem! I've tasted Beef & Chicken Teriyaki combo before at numerous locations before, and this relatively new restaurant, for sure, is one of the best! Not only the food was delicious, I could see that they took care preparing the dishes for me to not worry about a potential "health" issue at all. For the record, my wife had Shrimp Yakisoba, my daughter had Vegetable Yakisoba, and her friend had Chicken & Pork Teriyaki. It goes without saying that they all genuinely liked their meal very much! This will be my "to-go" Teriyaki joint, for sure!!! James @ Lynnwood
Came here on a whim while getting my tires done at costco. This is the perfect stop with lots of option. Delicious food and great service. It was quick and just as ordered. Got the teriyaki and kansu combo. Both were great.
Went her today before going to a movie nearby. We ordered from a very friendly girl at the register. Bonus they had soda (grape Fanta my absolute favorite) and other drinks in the fridge near the front. I felt like we barely waited 10 minutes and our food was at our table. So delicious and still a lot of food leftover. We will be coming back here again!
I ordered ahead and went to pick up. It was ready in the time mentioned and only took 15-20 minutes. I ordered the tempura udon noodle soup and some veggie spring rolls. It was very well priced and I had plenty of food. The udon hit the spot. Good flavors and a big piece of tempura. The veggie spring rolls were basic but I enjoyed it. This is definitely a good place to get a quick bite. I am going to definitely come back to get a bento box!
It reminds me of my favorite Japanese spot on Big Island. It reminded me of home. Food was great, service was great and the food came out in a reasonable time. I would definitely come back
Came back for our second visit and this time I got the Salmon Teriyaki Bento. Their tempura serving is very generous and delicious.
In short Their menu is about as long as it gets for a teriyaki place, and they nail every dish. Nice clean dining room and friendly service, too. Got another new regular yaki spot to add to my rotation. In long These new apartments seemed to take a while to build, and now it seems worth it even if you don't live here. Tons of great new places to eat. Parking can be kinda tight, and traffic gets congested all around here, but it's worth it. Plus, these folks are on delivery apps, so you can always go that way. They have a corner suite with 10' windows, so the room feels nice and bright. It's immaculately clean, too, with nice materials in the construction and brand-new tables and chairs all matching. It has the basic drinks cooler, pictographic menu, and order-at-the-counter to feel like what we all know as a teriyaki spot. But it's built very nicely and maintained scrupulously, which sets it a little bit apart from some spots. There's a flat screen at one end of the dining room, tuned yesterday to The History Channel. You could make an argument--and I would agree--that THC used to be WAY better 10-15 years ago, but it was still a cool change of pace from most lunch-spot channel choices. Watching the pawn guys haggle over weird antiques was a fun addition to my late lunch. One of the most remarkable things about this place is how focused and happy the staff is. Friendly, cheerful, relaxes--shoulders loose, genuine smiles. But they're constantly working, prepping, cooking, filling orders, emptying bus tubs. They're never not in motion, never not productive. Lunch special yesterday was a bento with chicken breast teriyaki. I never go for the bento, and I think I really gotta change that once in a while. Salad was the usual iceberg and creamy Italian. Half a sushi roll with mild flavors and no wasabi in sight, but it was a nice addition. The gyoza were solid, cooked until just a little crispy along the seam, with nice flavorful filling. The tempura was the biggest surprise, with fresh-tasting shrimp inside and really nice airy batter, served piping hot. The chicken breast showed nice grill marks and flavor, with minimal sauce clinging to it. Despite the Sriracha shortage, every table had a bottle of it with the condiments. Nice! There's no shortage of good teriyaki around here, no shortage of great teriyaki, either. Lee's is right at or near the top of the list, though.
Let me preface this by saying I don't care for teriyaki as I usually find it heavy/too sweet. This place though I actually enjoyed eating. The ambiance of restaurant was tranquil and the owner is an elder man who was very kind to us too. You walk in and place your order at the counter, paying first then you can go sit down at any table. The dining area is minimal with only four 4-tops. I would keep that in mind if you're planning on dining in, but it seems most of their revenue is take-out. We came at dinner time around 7pm and we're the only ones in the restaurant. The noise level is low and there is a self serve section with hot tea, our favorite and perfect for the cold weather now. There are other miscellaneous items you may need like utensils too. As far as service goes, the owner will drop off your food and check in if everything's tasting alright, but will mainly leave you alone as refills or anything you can get yourself. For food, we ordered one each: -tofu yakisoba: I liked the texture and portion of this dish. There was a good balance between the amount of tofu provided and veggies. The noodles were also a bit chewy, so not over cooked which I appreciated. I will say, it was a salty so I bought a side of rice which was a hearty portion to mix together to counteract that taste and then it was fine to eat :) -galbi: my cousin really liked her dish. She said even the side salad tasted fresh and the meat wasn't tough at all, but rather easy to cut and well seasoned. The amount of meat given is quite generous compared to other restaurants, she ended up taking a small box to go as it was a lot I don't think I'd come out of my way to eat here, but should I be in the area and craving teriyaki- it's a solid spot
My family and I were so excited to see this location open up since we were die hard Lee's fans of the location in Shoreline. Their teriyaki is cooked to perfection and has those char marks that I love. I was excited to try the lunch special here to try out this location and it did not disappoint. My sister had the shrimp yakisoba and said it tasted just like the Shoreline location. We're so excited to have this close by to us again, will definitely be returning. The side salad with my special was the freshest salad I think I've ever tasted.
